Hello SSS,

This topic may have been posted before, but I thought another "look see" would be of interest.

The quality of the printed words on screen is not that great  :-\ :-\ so PLEASE right click on each photo and you will get a much better "look see"  ;D ;D and also a valuable hard copy for later use.

Ok Two Flints,  now that makes sense,(as much as ANYTHING we gun nuts do make sense).
The adjustable strap is on the bottom of the loader, and the hook is on the top.
The hook gets unhooked easily.  (the design is correct according to the Spencer book)
so it's an easy fix with some tape or leather to keep it in place.
I could just bend the brass hook a little, but why mess with it....

     really well made..
( one of the tubes is tight, and will not fit the shells.  I've asked for a replacement, so I'll follow up
on this...it is just soldered too tight to let the Starline brass go in...the other 5 are perfect, so no big thing)

Thanks Two Flints, those words and pictures helped me a lot just now. I realize that the box is also supposed to be attached to the wide belt around my waist. I do not see any adjustable strap on mine. I just have a thin strap with two brass hooks, one on either end. There is a lot going on with a Spencer Calvary person. Lots of belts and things attached all over. I see the cartoon guy even has a pistol holster and a purse for firing caps. And a sword with belt. I don't see his canteen, and guess his bed roll is on the back of his saddle. I also notice he has a square belt buckle rather than the oval one.  My Calvary boots just like the picture also just showed up. Love the big square toe and the long length.
