New Taylor Spencer was available at Chantilly VA Gun show

I was happy to see that the Taylor Arms company finally had 2 new Spencer's for sale at the Chantilly VA gun show. For the past two years I have stopped by their table and seen all the other reproduction rifles and pistols that they sell, but always got an excuse that the Spencer was hard to keep in stock and have available for the show. They had one in 56-50 and another one in 45?or 44. It was my first handling of the weapon and was impressed by the outward quality of the wood and finish on the metal work. The action was smooth and tighter than my 150 year old original, but that was to be expected. They were offering them $100 below the MSRP value. I almost pulled the trigger on the purchase, but did not have the funds on hand to add it to my collection.
