someone help me please wanted to know what year gun I have

Hi I'm new to this sight but I came across an older gun and wanted to find out about it. the name across the barrel is iver johnson and cycle works. on the bottom of gun there is a patent number I believe it says june1996 and aug2596 behind the handle grip the serial # is R16103 I think and the same number 16103 but no R behind the cylinder i know it is a top break,hammer less and a 5 shot revolver  can someone help me please to find out what year this was made thanks in advance

Single Letter Suffix - 1920-1929

Two Letter Suffix - 1930-1939

All Letters - 1940-1956

After that - you're on your own - 1971-1975
