Apparently these are very hard to come by.  Does anyone know of any that are available nickel finish with the imitation ivory grips?

Well I went out and my dealer ordered me one on Monday, told me 90 days to 6 months (it was on the boat).  I told him great, I'd have a chance to set a few $$$ back.  Well he called me at lunch today and it was in!  Very nice, Nickel finish with Fire Blued Screws and Cylinder pin. and

And that's why I never order anything anymore without the money already backed up for it. Some of our dealer's are just too resourceful. Hope it shoots as good as it looks. Enjoy. :)

Thanks all, I think it's a very pretty piece.

PS: Pathfinder, much like you I have the same feelings on "having the money"... and I try to keep (and did in this instance) an envelope in my gun safe with "rainy day" money.... :)  While it wasn't raining, I did have enough to cover the revolver...

The Cody model is a beautiful firearm. I have the 5.5" model in .45 Colt. For me, it was very hard to find. I have not shot it yet but look forward to doing so. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Major 2

very nice  ..I picked this one up it's not a Cody,  but the Stainless MP4502 also in 45

TPAMDX, just wondering where you got this nice presentation box?  I've made a few, but they are a chore.  That's a nice looking one.

Highlander99:
Sorry for the delay in replying but I bought my SAA cases from Bill's Cases (http://www.billscases.com/). Bill Shumate is a great guy to work with and his cases are truly works of art. Check him out. I'm sure you will be pleased.

Very nice, didn't know Uberti was making them in that configuration. Best of luck with it and hope it shoots well for you. But you reminded me to look at my own "stash money" for gun purchases and it has dwindled. Birthday coming up in a couple months so I better figure something out!

Yea, the rainy day money can be handy :)  Mine is now at the low point, but I am adding a bit here and there for the next one..
