i just was gifted a Stevens pistol - well the parts thereof, in a plastic dish.  Some of the parts appear to be lost and some broken.  I wonder if someone has a schematic drawing of the pistol, or has one that they wouldn['t mind photographing and posting here...or sending me email about the little gem...
I don't know what model it is...has a nickel frame, blued steel barrel about 3 1/2" long.  I looked on Google but didn't find what I was looking for.

Try looking through the Gunpartsco (Numrich) catalog for a schematic.

Parts are hard to find.

My Gunsparts cat. is # 16 I think...likely about 25 years old.  It does not carry the schematic.

Like I'd said, parts are hard to find.

Numrich catalogs were about the only ones who had schematics in them - beyond that, maybe you can find a collector's club for them.

Try Dixie.

Half round/half octagonal barrel? Spur trigger? Could be a Stevens Old Model in .22 short. If so, congrats!

My dad had (?) a stevens pistol, larger than the one described. No parts were readily available, but it was fairly easy to modify the existing ones to tighten the action up, also made a new spring for the barrel release button, and finally made a new rear sight from some sheet metal on-hand. The pistol's bore was eventually re-lined and I think the piece refinished......and later I think sold. Unfortunately I never had a chance to see it fully completed or shoot it.
