We had a house full of family for the holiday weekend and a shoot with the Saluda Saddle Tramps on the calendar. My brother (brand new to CAS) asked if it would be ok to come on out with me. He was welcomed to the shoot by all and encouraged along through each stage. While the shooting was fun, it was the hospitality that made his day. We may have a new NCOWS member soon because of this experience!

Thanks to all for showing what NCOWS is really all about!

The best part of the ride home was hearing him watching SASS videos on YouTube and commenting, "those targets are way too close...where is the challenge in that?"

Awesome, Thunder.  You know, in my travels to meet and shoot with other posses (I will get around to Saluda Saddle Tramps) one thing has remained constant and that is the camaraderie I always find at an NCOWS shoot, no matter who it is.  And those SASS targets are too close...   ;D

Good to see you again TR! Glad you could bring your brother and that he enjoyed himself.

I hope we see you both again at our next event.

Our first match was on May 22, 2011.  Starting with just a small handful of folks, we have now grown to 20, and hope to continue growing.  Thanks everyone for your support.
