Here's a new shoulder rig I made for myself.  The pattern came from my buddy Grey Fox who has been very generous with his extensive experience in this great past time.  I made the holster from 9 - 10 oz. and the straps from 8 - 9 oz.  I left it 'flesh' coloured to prevent the dye from leaching out into a sweaty white shirt.  The leather has been given a couple coats of Atom Wax, and a gentle buff.
This rig fits well, and stays put...is quite comfortable.  I can carry my Colt SAA 5 1/2", my Colt 1911, or a S&W 38 spl with a 4" bbl.

Very nice, and well done, thanks for sharing with us Gabriel...

Thanks, and you're most welcome.

I didn't know you are a lefty? That is a neat rig, and worth doing one for myself.

Watching me shoot, Karl, will make you shake your head.  I am left handed and right eyed, so when I hold a handgun with two hands, my chin rests on my left shoulder...try it!  Thanks for the kind words.

Good-looking rig, Gabriel. Nice work. Thumbs-up!

I really like the architecture.  There is a fella who is putting something similar together for my Dragoon
with the idea being that the shoulder strap will take some of the weight off my hip. Call it a Xmas present
to myself.

Best Wishes,

Bruce
