Not only did he win the First Place medal in his category at this past weekend's Ruckus at Raccoon Forks, but shot the ten stage match clean.

What were you shooting Colonel? 7 1/2" Colt?

Pitspitr

Thanks Guys!
I had gotten to the point where I didn't think it would ever happen.

Windy City thanks for providing the photo and for reminding me to take off the modern shades before you took it!

CI:
Yes I was shooting working cowboy and shot the 7 1/2" colt replica paired with a Henry replica. I had intended to shoot my original Spencer but the front sight fell off and was lost and I haven't had a chance to replace it yet. Given Neiderlander's reputation for breaking firearms and my burgeoning reputation for the same, and considering that I bought it from him and I hadn't yet shot it, we are still arguing over who has to take credit/blame for having broken the Spencer.  ;D

Wonder what kind of single shot I can come up with for next year.....

I'm planning on an 1870 Trapdoor Springfield Carbine, myself!

Major Matt Lewis

I am planning on a Springfield Officers Model.  It seemed to be more accurate than the Cavalry Carbine last time I shot them.
