Sir Charles deMouton-Black

On facebook, I watch a site called "Old Victoria BC". That's my home town. There is a lot of stuff that is more modern, even to me!

This one caught my eye. It is of Yates Street, our main drag, where it meets the road that skirts the harbour. This was taken about ten years after the Fraser River gold rush brought about 20 thousand miners mostly from California.

Great image Sir Charles. Victoria is still a lovely, lovely city. Was there two years ago en route to Campbell River/Oyster Bay for pink salmon on flies. Prettier than I remembered it.
