Gentlemen,
I now have my 1876 Uberti 45-75 loaded and am in the process of sighting at 25 yds.  I find the trigger very heavy and the factory front post and buckhorn rear difficult to systematically adjust by loosening screws and whacking with a drift.
How to lightening the trigger w/o screwing it up?
Are there better sights available?  What works for older eyes (74) ?  Globe front?  Ladder rear?  Vernier tang?  What combo works?  Where did you purchase it.
Thanks

If you take a look in the 1876 forum you will find info on how to adjust the trigger as well as options for sights.
