Found a picture in a past edition of Truewest magazine showing Edward Bronson in the Wyoming Territories about 1876. Decided to draw up my own pattern of the holster he is wearing. Here is the link to the picture http://www.truewestmagazine.com/jcontent/living-the-dream/living-the-dream/firearms/3598-the-frontiersmans-mexican-loop-holster

After I drew the pattern I decided I had to go build the holster. Below is a picture of my rendition of Edwards holster. I made it for a SAA 5 1/2" barrel. Nothing fancy I was going for authenticity.

Very nice! Your strive for authenticity paid off. Looks right out the pages of Packing Iron.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

That is trick ! just my favorite look .... I like it

That's really fine, Camano. It looks authentic as can be. Good work, for sure.

Johnny, Major, Santee, Marshall thank you all for the kind words.

Boy, that is something. It does look like cowboy took it off for about a thousand times. Very real, as in authentic, looking.
