Gentlemen,
One of the projects I'm working on is building an 1870 Trapdoor Carbine.  I've got all the parts collected, but I need an original or reproduction musket stock (1861 or 1863) to proceed.  Let me know if anyone has one they don't need.  Thanks!

Also I may be in need of such an item also.

Give these folks a try. They do standard trap door stock too.

Thanks!  I had already been in contact with them, and I think I'll get a stock from them.  Two of us want them here, if we can find a third we get quite a price break.  Let me know if anyone is interested!

Please note,

There is a major differences between a Rifle Musket stock of 1861 and/or 1863 and the M-1870 "Carbine" stock.
Be sure this vendor knows what it is you want?
Just a suggestion on my part.

Yep, I discussed it with them and they know what I want.  They seem to be a pretty good company to deal with.

Well, I had a cut stock '73 rifle, but long ago I traded it for my complete '89. Can't help I guess.
