I would like to know why so many topics have been moved. Some of them I believe should be left here on this board.  Or is this board just for brithdays and card games?

Probably for no other reason than that a moderator felt that there was a more appropiate forum for the topic.  That's generally why I move topics anyway.  Another reason could be because a moderator felt that the topic was inappropiate for the forum that it was palced in.

Description of the Longbranch

QuoteThe social quarters for the citizens of Cas City. Please welcome new members, introduce yourself and have a good time in general. Check also the Longbranch Chat Room.

Or from Marshall's post on rules and regulations

QuoteHowever, the Longbranch is the exception. This is a neutral meeting place to say howdy and even start a thread if you can't find a suitable board  or if you are just not sure where to post. It is generally left in the Longbranch for a while and then if need be, moved to the appropriate board by the moderators. Please don't take that as something negative. It is just a rearranging, making room kind of thing. You know, putting the reloading supplies in the gun room and the pots and pans back in the kitchen.

Out of courtesy, I leave any thread pertaining to another site (TFS, TOR, SASS Wire, etc.) up for a minimum of 24 hours, before I move them to MISC. The way I see it, that is long enough In the Longbranch for folks to take notice of any message pertaining to that site.
Just a matter of "professional courtesy".
