I was thinking about a Rossi 92.  But then I heard say they weren't too accurate.  Is that true or should I go with a Uberti replica or real Winchester...or something else?   Wanting a round barrel 19 or 20 inch

Shotgun Franklin

We use the '92 Rossi and '73 Uberti at work. The '92 is more finicky about ammo and not as slick. We do not use the short stroke because we want more authenticity. I'd love to
have a Winchester '73 but in .45.
Yes, I do have more facial hair now.

Depends on what you mean by "not too accurate". While it won't be any good for shooting groundhogs at 250 yards, It will be fine for Deer at 100, or CAS steel at whatever range your club uses.

I have not noticed any accuracy problems with my Rossi 92.  It's not as accurate as my AR at 100 yards, but it gets the job done at CAS ranges.

I'd go with the Uberti '73's in .44WCF.  That being said, I bought a '73 from Navy Arms back in 1981 in .44 WCF and proceeded to have a gunsmith re-barrel and chamber it in .45 Colt.  I specified a Douglas Barrel with a one in sixteen twist.  I still own that carbine and use it when I shoot wild bunch with my M1911.  It is the most accurate of my lever guns and I never shoot Black Powder out of that particular carbine.  The current run of lever guns in .45 Colt are all good, but I would spend my money on the Uberti '73 or the Marlin 1994 in .45 Colt.
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.
