I really like those. Especially the one on the right. Beautiful. Is the stitch line in the front decorative or does it serve another purpose?

it's not a decorative stitching , it's a sight channel with 2 pieces of leather
also the sight doesn't hang the leather

I was looking for the pic below of the sight construction in the 1AT, and came across another of an even earlier model.  Sparks was a legend but man were those early holsters rough on the detailing.
