...For Lt.colonel Shamrock (Pat Gannon) who had a heart attack earlier this week. I received the following from him:

"Just to let you know, On Monday I had a heart attack. Went into NIMC Hospital and had an angioplasty and a stent put in. I've been released and am feeling OK."

I called the Colonel and spoke with his wife. She informed me he is in good health and at the time I had called he was out at the store buying a beef roast. I am glad that he is in good health though with some restrictions.

Heal well Colonel!

Sir,

I myself had a heart attack back on 10 October 2013. It makes for a real lonely feeling. Prayers out to you and your family...

Paddy Boy, Our luncheon conversation at the SASS Convention was meant to be a warning about such things, not a challenge. It seems now that everyone in the family has had a bout. Welcome to the "stent" club and glad to hear that you are back at it.  I shall continue to pray for you and especialy your wife who will do all the worrying about this incident and your resultant blaise' attitude about it. Do your rehab and follow Dr's orders. You might also want to tone down your shotgun loads a bit as bruises come easy and stay long. Let me know if you need a good 3/4 oz. 12 guage load. God Bless and shoot safe.

Shamrock welcome to the stent club, I have been a member since Dec 2006.  Important to exercise like docs tell ya, the stress on heart causes body to develop more collateral circulation and new vessels to feed the heart.
