Hi, All:
I reciently acquired a Win. 94AE, in .45LC. This rifle is new, in the box, unfired, with the original grease & oil in the works. I would like to clean and slick up the action of this gun, as it is very tight and rough,  but have not found any assembly-dissassembly info on it. I sent to Winchester, for an owner's manual, and in their infinate wisdom, they sent to me an owners manual for a new style, top tang safety model, and of course there was no info. on the parts breakdown or info. on how to dissassemble my gun. I have no idea when this gun was mfgd. and would like to find out, but can find no info. on that ether.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks.

Before I found CAS I worked over a 3030 win . I found a book at the library by Sam Fadala that was very helpful.I think the book was called Winchester 3030.[But not positive.] My 94win came with a 10 or 12 lb trigger that also had a mile of creep.after just cleaning out the manufacturing crap, it was much better. but when I was done it has a trigger that breaks consistantly at the same place,is smooth, and only at around 6 lbs.alot of improvementjust in cleaningup and smoothing out. it was well worth the time.DR.
