What a treat. Went to the Antique and Collectible gun show in Phoenix this morning and there were easily 100 or more Colt SAAs there. Mostly 1st gens but a fair number of 2nd and some 3rd. At least three original cavalry Colts and many lettered 1st gens. Also a few Frontier Scout 22s. I am absolutely sure I left a serious drool trail through the display hall and all the way home. Had shopping to do at Cabalas afterward and didn't feel the need to even drop in on their Gun Library. It has been many years since I've seen so many Colts in so short a time and small a space and it was good for the soul.

I felt the same way after attending the Winchester gun show in Cody, WY.  The newest weapons on display/sale were a couple of WWI Colt 1911's.  Lots of drool marks on the tables.
