I posted this on the USFA thread too, but does anybody remember a USFA (it think) multi barrel (6) SA based hand gun??  Looked a lot like an SA based Pepperbox.  Strange looking gun.  Would however, make a swell Steampunk piece.

Yep.
I sent the question everywhere sort of like a shotgun.  Figured someone might remember it.

   Greetings!

I don't know if you fellows recall, but in the 70's, a company named Garcia marketed a Spanish made double-action .22 Pepperbox designed to shoot .22 airgun pellets with a charge of BP and percussion caps, and had an optional Gold or Silver finish.
Well, in the 80's/90's (?), Dixie Gun Works got ahold of a few, and sold them for $60 or so, and I bought three: one for Dad, one to shoot, and one to squirrel away. I haven't shot one yet, but I did remove the sideplate, and it sure looks like your typical "Pepperbox" mechanism. They came with a combo Rammer / Powder scoop (chopped .380 case!), the ubiquitous Red DGW "USE BP ONLY" Safety Card, and a 5"X3.25" Instruction Card with English and Spanish on opposing sides. I thought you all would enjoy seeing it, as it is a reasonably accurate replica of a "Pepperbox". Sort of 'Cute', too!

        Be Well!

      P.S. ~ Sorry, I can't get a photo to post... Any ideas?

Photobucket is the only way I've been able to post photos here.

If you have the photo in a file on yer 'puter, you can post it here by clicking on "additional options" at the bottom of the page when you write a post, then click on "browse" which opens a file you can use to find the file on yer 'puter, then attach the file and click on "post". It's prety easy but ya gotta think a bit.  ;)

Yep, I saw that, and tried it. I think that the problem lies with the "400KB Maximum Size". I'll try once more; if that fails, I found an image on google that might work...

Seth,
Yep.  That was it.  Pietta made them and EMF floated them to see if they would fly.  No intrest so they (EMF & Pietta) just let the idea die and sold off the few they made.  Drat.
Now, it was a bit of an impossable quest, as for the "wild hair" i was in persuit of, I needed two.  Oh well.  I did find a suitable substitute (Sears Catalogue quote).
This, coming seaason is going to be FUN!!!

I spoke with Walt at EMF yesterday...........he's the one that told me about it!
After the conversation I went out to the vault and fingered mine and measured it and such. I have ideas ;D
