1800-1840's period correct sheath

I'm making this knife, and I'd like to know what style of sheath to have made. I'm in Frontiersman Camping Fellowship, and we re-enact the time period from 1800 to the 1840's. I know the sheath type from the 1870's, and that's cool, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for.

This is the one that was thinking, but like I said, I don't know if it's period correct.

I'll send ya some elk antler so you can make me one :) I like it! KT could make an awsome one as well as everyone else here,i imagine your gonna make one ,check out their stuff for some ideas :) I have some deer anlter and a real nice elk tine if ya need more.
