Well ,  I've been shooting a pair of 58 rems in 36 with conversion Cyl.s for several years { heeled bullets } and have a hanker'in for a pair of 75's  in 45 LC . I believe the grips will be better for my large hands , and I've always loved the looks of a '75

   G,onna go with 7 1/2 " Bbls cause I like the long Bbl's

And I like the looks of nickel revolvers .---BUT

Does any one have experience shoot-in nickel gun's with some of the sub-powders . In particular Goex pinnacle or APP .

I know-I know , There's nothing like the Holy Black { been building ,and shoot-in Flintlock rifles for many years } But I'm gett-in old , and there is just a big advantage about driving long distance to a shoot , shoot all day , drive home , and not" have-to " clean guns that night . Cleaning the next day works for me these days .

I've read that Hoppe's and other solvents can be hard on nickle , but we are talking soap and water here !!

But ALL sub's are corrosive . What the heck-- Holy  Black is corrosive .But there all corrosive to different metal's  , some less , some more .

So , any body have experience with Nickel , and the sub's ?
