I lucked out on this one - one of my saved searches had a hit a couple weeks ago, so I followed the link and found someone on gunauction.com selling a 50 round box of factory Ten-X black powder ammo with an opening bid of $30 w/$12 shipping. I entered the opening bid of $30 and won!  :o  $42 is less than the brass alone! Midway's price on this same 50 rounds is $151.99 + shipping. I be happy.

I just received 85 pieces from a pard on the SASS wire for $40, delivered too - some new, some used :D
When these 50 get here, I will have a grand total of 766 pieces. Fifty of them are made from 8mm Lebel brass, another four or five from .348 brass that were originally made into .45-75 cases, then into .56-.50's when they developed neck splits, with the remaining 660+ being Starline. A pretty sizable investment, all in all.  :)

How many of those have you shot in one day?

Jbar4Ranch

Oh geez... maybe 150 - I shot 50 through it yesterday.

I've only got 200 brass, and I can't keep them all loaded- my molds are both single cavity and it takes a looong :-\ time to mold enough to load them.  My hat is off to you w/ keeping your spencer fed and happy.
