No not that.
I want to know how big you cut the rear sight notch on pistols for cowboy action shooting.
Thanks in advance.

Partially depends on how wide your front sight is.  Ruger changed their rear sight to .140" a few years ago and that has become sort of a de facto standard for "wide" rear sights.  The Ruger Vaquero front sight is about .080".  I have been putting .125 brass front sights on most of my Vaqueros and opened the rear sight to .156 (that's because a 5/32 end mill is .156.)  On the Blackhawks the front sights are wider than a Vaquero.  I run my rear sights about .190" (3/16 end mill).  Remember, CAS is not bulls eye shooting.  You need a fast sight picture of your front sight on the target.  At the ranges most of us shoot, it doesn't matter if the front sight is centered in the rear sight you will still hit the target.

Well,
On my personal guns, I open the rear sight until I clearly see the front sight, whatever size it is.

I think Evil Roy's rule of thumb for a sight picture is that you should see 50% of the width of the front sight on either side when centered in the rear sight.
