I just got a set of Genuine Colt 1860 Army US Cavalry Commemorative. UNFIRED

They were purchased at a pretty good price with all boxes and paper work, wood case, shoulder stock, mold, tin, wrench, and flask
I got 2 Colt cap and ball revolvers pamphlets    (form #C51 NIF-7 71)

Did they come with a Colt 1860 Army Manual ?

I would sure like to shoot them.

So would I be better to buy a UBERTI and shoot it, or Just shoot them?

St. George

There was no manual for the weapon - then, or now.

If you really want to shoot one - buy and shoot a Uberti, and keep these unfired.

RWK,

I agree with St. George completely on this. Buy a pair of Uberti's to shoot. I also bought a Calvary Commemorative set some time back with thoughts of shooting them. Thankfully I let enough time pass that I came to my senses and have kept the set unfired. Unfotunately that has proven a mild detriment to my wallet as since then I've added a couple more Uberti's, a couple of Pietta's, and four of the Centaure Belgium made 1860's.  ;D What can I say, I like Colts 1860 Army. ;)
