Modify a Remingon Hammer

Not a big fan of the 1875-90 hammer shape with the cheesy cast in checkering. I reshaped with a Dremel, polished and blued. Life has taught me my limitations. I'll let a gunsmith checker it.

Definitely prettier lines.  Following this thread and some of your other recent ones, I'm pretty sure you have fewer "limitations" than many of us.  Real nice work.

Thanks Octagon. I have tried to learn over the years. Now the hands complain if I do too much. heh.
Gotta have fun.
But I think the hammer will be mailed to a real gunsmith. (:^). j
