I'm saddened beyond words and my heart is broken today. My 35 year old son Scott David Fitzgerald passed away this morning after a couple of rough years in a battle with a rare form of cancer. Parents aren't supposed to outlive their children. Thanks and take care.

Deep and sincere condolences from a three year cancer survivor. This time three summers ago I was undergoing two months of radiation therapy.
While at the clinic, I learned how vulnerable we all are. Many of the folks I met there are no longer with us.
