As many of us know esp those at the 2013 Muster he is fighting cancer, he wife just called he is out of surgery, things went better than expected, he is awake in ICU, I will update when I hear more.

Thane again for all your prayers - it must be working because the entire staff here seems amazed at my progress. Physical therapy in two hours. Not looking forward to that but needs to happen. Thanks again.

I'm sitting upright in a chair right now. That was the goal of today's therapy after a few steps. They say the longer I can sit here the better they like it. I'm liking it better than the bed. It's gonna be a long haul but I'm getting a great start.

I buggered up my right hand one time (you know that it's not a good thing when your doctor looks at what you've done to yourself and says, "Oh SH!T!")

After she'd fixed me up the best she could the doctor told me I had to use it. I didn't tell her that it wasn't an option not to use it and she didn't tell me that she didn't think I'd ever use my little finger again. A few months later she saw me and asked me to straighten out my little finger. I said, "you mean like this?" and straightened it. She said, "wow, I never thought you'd do that again." I reminded her that she'd told me I had to use it so I did.

Just had my first meal in 4 days - 4 oz of apple juice & peppermint. Seemed like a feast.

I can tell you that if you can and do let one rip they will be pleased with you. They are a bit weird about that.

Already have, that's why the gave me something to swallow. Of course I don't have the original equipment for that, so it comes burping out just a little to the the left of my belly button.

Been sitting up a long time - they said h longer the better, but I'm about ready for bed now.
