O.K. I give up!

I give up, how in the heck do you pronounce this word, "Tragacanth"? I've darned near harelipped myself trying to figure out how to pronounce it. Does anybody know for sure? Is the accent on the first syalable, second sylable or the third?

Trag   a   canth

with emphasis on the first syllable, "Trag"

but then we all know what "assume" spells . . . .
