158 gr SWC

Are these legal for CAS shooting???  I have close to 5000 SWC but 0 Round nose.

Certainly they are.  But keep in mind that SWC often don't feed smoothly in rifles.

Abilene is on the ball today!!!  Any lead bullet is "legal."  However, as noted, SWC's are terrible in almost all SASS type rifles.  They work fine in revolvers since they don't have to go through a repeating mechanism.

I was given some .45 SWC, 500 of'm. They would not feed in my rifle. I shot'm all through my revolvers. It only took about 2 months and they were gone. You can do the same easy.

I have had some success with 240 gr Semi Wads in my Rossi 92, but they do require a good roll crimp to facilitate chambering.  Do not feed at all with a taper crimp and the raw front edge of case scraping chamber wall.
