1860 Army conversion calibers

I have a question that I hope someone can answer here; Does anyone make a gated conversion in .45ACP for the 1860 Army Colt, I know that it is made in .45 schofield, but Iwould like the brass availability of the ACP?

I don't personally know of anyone making a conversion cylinder in .45 ACP.  In the past, Walt Kurst has pointedly refused to make an ACP Cylinder.  Whether Kenny Howell would make one, good question. 
Personally, I doubt the market is big enough to support tooling up.  But, just like big engines, big cubic inches just take big cubic dollars.  You may be able to find someone to make a pair of ACP cylinders.  Talk with your Broker first.  It won't be cheap.  Also, most look at the pressure curve of the ACP cartridge as incompatible with BP pistol frames.

Forgot, no one will make a 6 round .45 conversion cylinder.  The chamber wall of the cylinder is just too thin.  The commercial purpose busily "conversions" that are chambered in .45 are actually a good bit "oversize" and many of us gun plumbers feel they are still marginal. 
For actual BP based guns, 5 round cylinders only for .45

I have a set of 45ACP Kirst conversion cylinders for my 1858 Remingtons. But I use Cowboy 45 Specials in them.

So I know Kirst makes 45ACP  for the 1858s..............My 1860 Kirst conversions are 45ACP...Still use 45CB Spl in them.

 i sold my pair of ACP cylinders a couple of years back,  can anyone say dumb?  Theses were the original six shooter versions with solid plates and made for the '58 Rem.  There definitely should not have been room for rimmed 45 cases on these and yes, they were an early Kirst product.  I actually preferred the five shot 45Colt cylinders loaded ala Cowboy Special style but did load a few black powder ACPs and had no problems.  In the old days when we had to actually practice loading a sixth round on the clock, the six shot ACP cylinder would have been the solution!

No sir, way too much pressure (and backthrust) for the platform. Buy .45Colt, S&W or Cowboy brass and consider yourself lucky.
