cowboy load for a 38

I bought my youngest a S&W 38 spl Hand Ejector. It was made between 1914 and 1917. Im looking for a plinking load and a nightstand load that wont stress the old girl.  It shoots to point of aim with 158 grain lead bullets.  Im thinking a cowboy load will be about what I need. I have unique, tightgroup, herco, and trail boss powders and if posible Id like to use up the trail boss. I bought it for another project that didnt work out. Or I wouldnt mind putting together a BP load for it. What loads have you used for low stress? DR
