We have a new member and its my pleasure to introduce him. Niederlander hails from Nebraska as a true son of the plains. He served our nation as a State Trooper and a Marine. Some of you know him as fellow Grand Army of the Frontier member.  To the rest, he's a great new member.  Please join me in giving Niederlander a warm welcome.

I should have asked....Niederlander? Is that a nod to one of my favorite comedies (Three Amigos)? ....oder, bist du auch ein Deutsch sprechend Person?

Yes sir, that was the inspiration.  I changed the spelling to be more Germanic, since that's my heritage.  "One for each other, and all for one.  Three brave amigos are we."!
