In the latest Guns &Ammo magazine, Garry James reviews a newly made custom "Liebmann" style Winchester 1907.  Again, like his 1927A1 Thompson article a few months back, he makes NO mention of the AZSA.  The article is not online yet when it appears, I'll post the link.  It's amazing he can write about "gangster gun" and not even mention the AZSA. He writes interesting and informative articles, BUT he needs an education on the AZSA.

Is he aware of AZSA? I spoke with him a few months ago and he wasn't aware that the GAF existed and it has for 12 years. AZSA is newer than that, maybe he doesn't know about it.

I'm sure that is the case, in spite of the emails I've sent G&A.  It's amazing to me that an antique gun enthusiast/writer does not know about the GAF or the AZSA.
