Well, we shot the NCOWS Midwest Regional with the Nebraska Territorial Rangers over this past weekend.  It was my second match shooting BP Duelist but somehow I managed to win 3rd place!!!!  I'm still shocked considering I didn't feel that I did that good and it was rainy so my thumb kept slipping off the hammer of my Vaqueros.  I was creating maximum smoke and having more than maximum fun.  On one stage, I managed to take my wifes 20 gauge Stoeger to the line instead of my Rossi hammered 12 gauge and didn't realize it until the shells wouldn't fit into the chambers!! .  Like I said, I don't know how I won 3rd.

Since I got 3rd, my guess is 3 shooters.   Seriously though, I won't know for sure how many shooters were in my class until the newsletter comes out with all the scores from the regional.  Curiosity is killing me.  I'm also curious as to how my wife did.  She shot really good.  Too bad this is the last match this year that we'll be able to attend.  We're trying to decide what big match we want to go to next year.  Did Hell on Wheels this year and really enjoyed ourselves.  But, we want to take in a different match so that we may "broaden our horizons".
