.462 Mold

Bull Schmitt

A fellow shooter has a Traditions/Pietta target model that requires a .462 ball. Has anyone any experience with this pistol? Where can he get a mold?

NEI Handtools has .460 diameter roundball moulds listed.  Their standard information is that moulds drop bullets at .003 above the listed diameter.
I think your friend should give them a call;

Lyman lists a .457 as the closest choice.  RCBS has a .464 roundball mould listed, at $120.xx;
