Hey Pettifogger!!!!

Just read you latest article in the Chronicle.  Liked the photographs.  Noticed you got your thumb a mite close to the hammer ;D

Been there, done that  ::)

Not sure exactly how that happened.  But, it started at the very bottom of my thumb and over a couple of months worked its way to the top and then finally disappeared.  Kinda matched my bloodshot eyes.

Almost as much fun as removing your thumb nail with an end mill.  But I wouldn't know about that ::)  :o

Yes,
In letting a lock and having it catch a part of your anatomy between it and the nipple/firing pin because there wasn't enough wood removed. That only once!
Or, having a drill bit/reamer in the tail stock of a lath and backing your arm wrist or hand against it while making the next set up. From that point on I didn't even have the live center in the tail stock.
I never lost any parts or pieces around any tool that was in motion.
