The Thunder River Renegades is announcing our newly expanded annual match.  Last Stand at Thunder River 2013 will be a two day shoot on Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28.

Think of all the fun of a big shoot, but all in a weekend and about half price.

There is an application posted on the Events section of the club website (www.thunderriverrenegades). Everyone is encouraged to pre-register, but shooters can register the day of the shoot.

This will be our first attempt at making our annual outing a little bigger, but keep the fun. Saturday shooting will be just about non-stop if a shooter has the courage to bring a gun for every activity.

The schedule is posted. You can shoot 5 stages Saturday, then have lunch (provided on the range) and shoot just about any side match we can fit on the range. We plan to include:
Wild Bunch
Plainsman
Long Range big bore (lever and single shot)
Speed pistol, rifle, shotgun
Josey Wales stage
Pocket gun and derringer
Long range pistol
Long range Cowboy rifle (pistol caliber)
22 pistol/rifle

May come up with a couple of extras, never can tell.

We will have an optional dinner at a local restaurant Saturday night.  Sunday we will have a steak and potato lunch after the match during the awards ceremony.  We'll have lots of door prizes and raffle items Sunday during the lunch, including a Dillon 650.

All of this will be on our newly expanded 10 Stage Range near Magnolia, Texas (just outside The Woodlands).  There are plenty of local hotels and dry camping will be available on site.  Please see the club website for developing information.

Come join us and meet a great group of friendly folks.  The match fee is only $50 and includes a steak and potato dinner Sunday afternoon.

Dry camping is available on site.

LSTR 2013 is in the books and was a very successful shoot.  Judge Roy Bean and Justice Lilly Kate came out to visit and kept everyone entertained.

We had 100 registered shooters and everyone appeared to go home happy.  Sundown Chaz won the Springfield 1911 pistol and Waterloo took home the Dillon 650.

Full match results are posted on the club website.

We're already planning LSTR 2014!
