New Spencer!?

I am having a heck of a time trying to find myself a new [Taylor's, ect.] Spencer in any caliber, and especially in my preferred 56-50 chambering?  Why are these rifles so hard to find!?   

For that matter Henry's, 1873's, 1876's, just about any of the Italian replicas are getting scarce anymore.. I remember a few years ago, the market was flooded with them.. now you can't find any? ..what's the deal!?  I would even pick up a Chapparal if the price was right, but I think they went out of business.. I haven't seen a new one in a while.

Thoughts?  ..anyone have any direction?

I would prefer a carbine, but I am open to a rifle.. I am more interested in the 56/50 chambering since it is unique, adequate for deer, and 'somewhat' original..

I have checked Buffalo, Track, Gunbroker, Auction Arms, ect.. I haven't tried Dixie, headed that way now.  I just notice a serious decrease in the availability of most Italian imports lately.. cartridge carbines and rifles in particular. 

As far as the one in the classifieds, I notice that it is 45 Schofield, anyone have any experience with those?
