Our group has a new member that hails from the hills of East Kentucky. His name is Kentucky Charlie.  He is already a member of American Mt. Men, SASS, NMLRA, and the NRA.

I'm sure he'll have a lot to contribute so please help me in  extending a warm welcome to our new comrade in arms.

Welcome Kentucky Charlie! Ever been to the Knob Creek mach gun shoot?

Tsalagidave

That would be a hoot. I do a lot of automatic weapons shooting in Nevada. Only belt-fed I ever operated was the SAW. I'd love to fire off a Ma-duce or a Maxim.

The Commanders M2 on the M1A1 is a hoot.  Thermal sites and all.

Back when I had money, I once let off a 100-rd. belt sustained in a .50 cal M2, without stopping.

Even with my mouth open to prevent my eardrums from blowing; I felt punch-drunk from the overpressure when I stopped.

DEFINATELY put it on your bucket list!

Somehow, we got off track on the conversation, but for all you lovers of the gun, there is a new show called "Guntucky" on CMT starting April 21. They are at Knob Creek Range.
Probably show us as Hillbillies ( sorry, Appalachian  Americans to be PC ;) ) but at least we still have our freedoms !!

Amen. Colorado decided to try a bunch of new gun control. We have gun shows almost every weekend now and 500-rd. bricks of .22 are going for $90. AK's; $1400; AR's... don't even ask.

I think I am going to sell all my ammo and pay off my mortgage with it.  ;D
