First, a shooting buddy and good friend is moving to California. He gave me an awsome deal on his Yukon Gold/Browning 22 gun safe. And he said by the way, I want to give you some leather stuff.









And for the last item, I ordered "IT" today. Should have "IT" by Tuesday week. Seems during my waiting to order, there are twelve in front of me.

ALSO visited Zack White todya and picked up one 8 oz double shoulder veg tanned and one  7 oz double shoulder veg tanned and some tools. With the tools that my buddy gave me and the ones I bought I am chafing at the bit.

Major, we backed up to his garge door and the safe was 5' away. Lowered it, slid it up the ramp on cardboard, boxed it in with screwed down 2x4s and took her home. Two days later 4 strong cowboys showed for Eggs Goldenrod and homemade bread and toast. And bacon and link sausage.
One had brought a handtruck that had legs that could be extended out the back. Reversed the procedure and wheeled it into the den. From the trailer to the den is concrete and tile. Garage and the den. Flat going all the way. Good pards are good to have.

The good part is that he "gave" me the safe for $900.00.

The safe on the left is a precision piece of metal that is unlined.My deceased fathr-in-law made it. 8th grade education genius. You can open the door all the way and, with all your might, slam the door. Metal will not touch. it is so precise, the air will stop the door a hair before contact.





I am considering putting up a 12x20 building and dedicate it to leather and reloading. Shoot, might as well show off some more.  Us old guys need to because of the short term.

I cook a mean breakfast whether it be Eggs Goldenrod, creamed tomatoes, or the usual fried eggs, fried potatoes, bacon/sausge, and dark browned flour in bacon grease to make  decently strong gravy. 'Course Deborah's home made bread finishes it off.

That's a nice friend....I live about 20 miles south of you but commute to WinstonSalem every day....I always wandered why McLeansville smelled so good in the mornings......

You are set up to do some serious reloading. It looks like you are going to need that 12 x 20 building. My bride just gave a whole bedroom for my guns and reloading. The extra space is sure nice.

I am not a BP fan. The "real" way would be to put enough real black powder in the case so that the bulllet does not compress the powder. No air space either. Just touching or a tad tighter.
