Coffinmaker

Invitation to a Gunfighter w/Yuel Brenner.  Set after the Civil War.  Dumb movie ...... But the guns were almost right.  Brenner's was an 1860 Conversion, the "Heavy" had an 1851 and the good guy had the right rifle.  Holsters were drop loop Buscadero (can't have it all).  Now, where did Hollywood get an 1860 Conversion (two piece cylinder) in the early 1960s ???

StrawHat

In the early 60s and before they were probably just using originals.  Lots were around and not much interest in them.  Watch some of the early westerns and see how many Henrys get tossed into the sand.
Knowledge is to be shared not hoarded.

From the same armorer who supplied Josey Wales with a 1st Model Richards six years before they appeared and '92 Win. carbines to John Wayne in the Civil War.  ;D  ;)
