My newest toys

Had to show off my newest toys. She's a Taylor's & Company Uberti 1860 Army wot I got from Midway USA. Had fellow forum member Flint tune her up, fit the hammer face to Slix-Shot nipples, square up the rear sight notch on the hammer, installed reduced power mainspring, and create & install a taller brass dovetailed front sight.

Had the gal there hand pick me one with a nice grain to the wood. They have a bunch of them in stock ifn anybody is lookin for one. I need to try n restain to match the color of the grips.

I'm sure if Midway worked that gun over it's a slick one. Haven't seen him in a long while, hope he's OK. If you see him tell him Hellgate says hi.

Bought the pistol from Midway USA. Flint done the smithing on her. She's sweet and slicker than owl poop for sure and for certain.

I wasn't thinking. Midway (the shooter) is a fine guy and another C&B officianado that I enjoyed shooting with many years ago (mid to late 1990s). He'd come up from Kalifornia and we'd talk percussion. I think he hung out with Rowdy Yates and Old Scout. Oh well, yer gonna have fun with your new boomer.
