A friend shot some soft, undersized, underlubed bullets in his Henry rifle.

We can't get it out.

Help!

Ranch 13

Wet some flannel cleaning patches with puregum spirits of turpentine and push them thru the bore on a jag tipped cleaning rod. I damp, 1 dry, and so on until there's no more grey on the patches. Probably take you about a 1/2 dozen patches maybe a dozen.
Eat more beef the west wasn't won on a salad.

put a cork in the end of the barrel and fill with Ballistol and let stand for a day then drain and run a brass brush in barrel the clean patch works for me

Lefty Dude

Copper Chore-Boy pot scrubber, strands placed around a bronze bristle old cleaning brush. This will cut it out fast and safe.

Just make sure you get the pure copper scrubber, they also make a copper plated steel. You will know by the price. The alll Copper is twice the price of the other.

Works for me, and others also. ;)

You can melt it out as well. Connect a transformer, such as one from a electric train kit or racing car kit or one of the small electric fence transformers used for keeping dogs or other animals in.......connect one wire to each end of the barrel, and tilt the barrel muzzle down..........takes a day or so, but this will melt the lead and drop it out the muzzle.

Used it on my 92 back years ago......works very good.

Dumb question. Do you have to remove the barrel?

nope, just clip on the breach end so the juice goes thru the barrel. Set the whole thing on a board or other non conductive surface so it is not grounded out.
