I used to buy some hand forged buckles when I was at Nationals at Friendship (NMLRA) years back.  The fellow used to make them in 3/4", 1", 1 1/4" and 1 1/'2" - suitable for using on adjustable straps on muzzle loading hunting pouches, personal buck skinning gear, etc.  He usually was set up in the primitive area with a trade blanket of different things laid out.

I just used my last 1 1/4" buckle on a hunting pouch I'm making for a guy back home and I've been looking all over for a source of them.  Anybody know where a person can locate them at a reasonable price?  These buckles were basically hand forged and when hot, dipped in oil to give them a blued look.  They were just the perfect size for straps, etc.

I need to restock and have some on hand and thought maybe someone who is buck skinning might know where they could be found.  Thanks.
