As if things weren't bad enough, these days when you search Gunbroker for USFA, most of what you get are ZIP guns. The amazing part is that people are actually bidding on them.

With all due respect, Doc, I don't think that it is that amazing as the ZiP has just been released.  I think it will be amazing if people are still bidding six months from now.
Looking at the various firearms forums on the net, I note that most of the reactions to the ZiP are negative.  About one in ten seem to think that the ZiP is a really great idea.  Once the 10%ers get their fill I think you will see a definite decline in sales.
Sooner or later we are bound to get an objective review, probably showing up on YouTube.  That should be interesting.

After watching the video from the shot show and seeing all the jamming and missfires, I have no idea why anyone would want one. I know if I was buying a firearm I would want something I could depend upon.

But then some people buy things because they think they look good or different.
I just don't see many of them selling. Those that do sell I am sure they will be back up for sale once the fad wears off and they realize it isn't practical.
