Bought it at a rumage sale for about 85.00. Its a 1863 Remm Pocket model .31 cal...Found all the Ammo and everything for it today except a small powder measures..all they had in my area was .50gr increment measures. So I have everything but that...grr
anyways its made by CVA and here it is not a beauty but hopefully works good.

I don't think CVA made that piece.  Probably from Italy.  Look at the markings here for ID & date of manufacture;

Wow those are some nice looking Remmingtons! Well it's obviously been awhile since I came here looking for info and showing off my .31. Ive sinoots ce then settled in and regularly shoot it loaded with 16-18gr of fffg it shoots more accurately with those loads and it's right on the edge of too much to hold onto that little grip. It's still chuggn along though and I've used it to dispatch a few critters here on my small hobby farm. So  far I know  it will deal with raccoons, armadillo, snake, and possums, although the racoon had to be hit 3 times. Thanks for the help and info again guys it helped alot.
