Announcing DD Mold Slick

Ho the fire,

I've been including samples of mold lube with all the Big Lube®LLC molds I've sold.  Now I hear that my source is no more.  So, after much trial and error, tests and searching I've finally come up with my own bullet mold lube.

I named it DD Mold Slick.  It's on my web site now, but I'm still waiting for the bottles for it.

Seeings how they are in Alaska, it didn't make a whole lot of sense to order a little and pay a lot for shipping just a little, so I wound up ordering what is probably a lifetime supply a couple years ago.

It sure would be more convenient if someone's magic recipe was in solid stick form though.

I too bought a bunch and turned one of the bottles upside down. Now I only have a 2 or 3 year supply.

Bullshop used to use the postal flat rate boxes and envelopes , so the shipping costs don't amount to much for the best bp lube around or the lubriplate.
Turnaround time from here to there and back was less than 10 days most of the time.

Further testing indicates that Mold Slick doesn't migrate as much.  It gets into the hinges and pins and sockets and it slicks up the underside of the sprue plate and the face of the mold blocks very well.

I'm selling the stuff for $3 per 2 oz bottle.

I just talked with Bullshop on last Friday. He is not out of business nor has he stopped selling his product. He also still sells nis very good BP lube known as NASA.
He does have to be contacted via e-mail but that is no problem and he is no longer at his Alaska address.

Can I ask what point there is in Highjacking Dick's thread to supply information on another mold lube from someone who may or may not be in business?

Dick is a HUGE supporter of the cast bullet and CAS sports. He supplies fantastic products at stupid low prices. And ships quick.

Because Dick was repackaging bullshops , bullplate. So if you go back and reread his opening post, he left the door open to be corrected, especially as he was providing false information about bullshop.

That was not a high jack and if you want the "REAL FACTS" , listen up.
I am the one who turned Dick onto the BULLPLATE LUBE that is made by a friend of mine who did reside in Alaska. It is the best lube mould lube that has ever been made.
Dick started buying this lube by the gallon from Dan and his wife Tina. He repackaged it and put it in with all his moulds and gave the impression it was from him.
When I saw his posting which seemed to say that his new lube was better than his old lube, I became a little upset when I knew the truth.
The Lube makers never went out of business, they were simply relocating from Alaska to Montana and are now making and selling all the lubes they sold before the move. I will post that information in a thread of it's own. Later Fairshake

I would offer that Dick said he was "sourcing" it. Therefore he wasn't making it.

On the Cast Bullet forum there are a couple of threads about BullPlate stopping their business. Everyone was looking for a new source.

Bullshop stated time and again they were merely suspending orders and shipments until their move was made. Some could not grasp the concept and continue to this day to say they have went out of business.
Don't you find it just a little wierd that about a week or two after its patently clear Dan and Tina are back to taking and shipping orders. Mr. Rhody is putting out the word that they are still out of business  and he has come up with something better....

What you contend is no worry of mine. I do believe in telling the truth and being honest with all people I deal with.
If you find fault with that then you have your own problems.
If I see a posting that is not trueful in it's contents then that thread is where the correct information should be posted.
I thought that the people who practice the cowboy way believe in the things I posted and lived by.
I will always stand up for the truth!!!

Fairshake put me onto Bull Plate.  He gave me some and I was so pleased with it that I bought it in bulk.  I bought some ¼oz plastic bottles and packaged a sample, clearly labeled "Bull Plate" in with each mold I sold.  I also included a scanned copy of the original BULL PLATE INSTRUCTIONS AND ORDER INFORMATION WITH EACH SAMPLE BOTTLE.  I NEVER represented Bull Plate as available from Big Lube®LLC and NEVER sold any.  I never represented Bull Plate as a Big Lube®LLC product.  Bull Plate was NEVER  offered on my web site.  I gave it away.  FREE!

From my source, supply of this fine product appeared to be drying up.  I'm happy to learn that that is not the case.  Bull Plate is a fine product and it works very well with Big Lube®LLC molds.

What I did do when my bulk supply was used up was to do some very careful researching, testing and sourcing.  I found another supply of mold lube product.  This new product IS being offered for sale on my web site.  I named it DD Mold Slick.  I am now supplying a FREE bottle of DD Mold Slick with each new mold I sell.  Instructions for proper use are included with the FREE sample bottle.

All Big Lube®LLC molds benefit from the proper use of bullet mold lube.  Thank you Fairshake for your help.
