It is done. We will have an after action report from Lt. Col. Gannon soon but I thought I would chime in here. It was so much fun. The Col. outdid himself ain running a fun and safe match.

We had at least four shooters who have never shot a GAF match and two of them were in full uniform for their first GAF match! I'd call that a success unto itself.

Many thanks go to Shamrock for running another fun and safe match. The stages were excellent and the food was great. A good time was had by all. I wouldn't miss one of these events for the world!

Also thanks go to Sgt. Strong for giving us an excellent History lesson on the Springfield Trapdoor prior to the match start. The Sgt. also had  his awesome collection of Trapdoor's on display.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself
