Wads for black powder 45 Colt cartridges?

Kinda depends.  Load one day shoot the next lube prolly not much of a problem.  Hot weather and longer interval between loading and shooting wax paper, milk carton or other barrier may be a really good idea.

I still have some 1/8" cork gasket  from Canadian Tire.  I think its getting harder to find.  I also have some Durofelt but no wads used from it yet.

I make lubed wads from pulp egg carton material.  bang \em out and dip them in melted lube.  after they soak for a few minutes remove them and let them harden on a bit of plastic sheet (old grocery store bags).  I use them for cap'nball and under heeled bullets.  Also use them in BP shotshell wad columns.
