I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this, But-

I just got some bad news that a Pard of mine Passed away today at noon, Muleskinner Micah fought cancer for about 3 years and today Cowboy Action Shooting lost one of the best Pards out there. Please join me in raising a glass to my Pard Skinner, Those who knew him will miss him, the world is a sadder place today. Please send your prayers to his Family and Friends

Skinner, Here's to You Pard :'(
The following was copied from the E-mail I received from Flat Iron

Muleskinner passed on today September 23 at around 12 noon after fighting liver cancer for 3 years.  He was at home with his wife Dixie, his mother, and their extended family of his and Dixie's children.  He had been under hospice care at home for several weeks and felt no pain or fear before he passed.   Mike was a unique individual to the end and his friends of which he had many could write a million words without capturing who he was.  Those who knew him and loved him will remember him in their own  way.  He was a great ambassador for cowboy action shooting but much more than that.  There were people who knew him from his other interests who would say the same as to their interests and miss him as much.

The viewing will be tomorrow September 24 between 6-8 p.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home Route 147, Galway New York.  The funeral will be at the Broadalbin Baptist Church Sunday September 25 at 2:00 p.m. in Broadalbin New York.  A reception will be held afterwards at Maryann's Restaurant Broadalbin.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to either the SASS Scholarship Foundation or the Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville NY.

Respectfully,Major E.A. Sterner

My prayers for the family

Lou Graham

Yup, Major!  Muleskinner was a great pard.
I always enjoyed being on his posse over at D Bar D.  He put together a wonderful "muleskinner" persona and really added to any shoot he particiapted in.
First time I saw an '87 shotgun belching smoke and flame -- It was Muleskinner.
Prayers for Dixie and the rest of his family.
